How to make it
4 steps. Take it one step at a time.
Place the farmer's cheese
Place the farmer's cheese in a medium-sized bowl and mash it thoroughly with a fork until it reaches your desired consistency (some like it chunky, others more smooth).
Wash the radishes and chives
Wash the radishes and chives. Finely dice the radishes into small cubes and finely chop the chives.
Add the diced radishes, chopped chives, and sour cream
Add the diced radishes, chopped chives, and sour cream to the mashed cheese. Mix everything together until well combined.
Season the mixture
Season the mixture with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Give it a final stir and serve immediately with fresh crusty bread or on toast.
A little kitchen wisdom
For the best texture, use traditional 'Twaróg' found in International or Eastern European aisles. If you prefer a smoother consistency, you can add more sour cream or even a splash of milk.
